Our mission is to enhance your fly fishing experience through education, fly fishing outings, fellowship, skills development, and environmental awareness. We are an inclusive group and welcome fly fishers of all skill levels and backgrounds.
W
e offer monthly meetings with excellent speakers, outings to some of the most outstanding destinations in California, and beyond, opportunities to learn to cast, tie flies, build rods, and improve your overall fishing skills, access to a library that includes the latest fly-fishing books and videos, and an informative monthly newsletter.
This is our club's annual fundraiser to support many of our activities
including the California Department of Fish & Wildlife’s Trout in the Classroom program. Trout in the Classroom is a community based program which allows students to experience firsthand the delicate balance needed for animals to survive in aquatic ecosystems. Students engage in course of study which supports the learning experience across curriculum area. This program is run cooperatively by local schools, fishing clubs and government agencies. Our award winning program here at GPFF reaches nearly a thousand school children each year in the San Francisco Bay Area.
