Pulling For Pets UP Lemon Hill

Pet lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will spend a Spring Day celebrating the people and pets in our community! Located in historic Lemon Hill Park, featuring the iconic 7.5 grade Lemon Hill, people will enjoy a Philadelphia Parks & Rec “Parks On Tap” pop-up Beer Garden, Food Trucks, Live DJ, and a Pet Village - all while cheering on participants as they pull up the steep and iconic hill.

*Enjoy a cold Tito's BARKARITA and Tito's Vodka for Dog People will donate $1 for every one sold to Emancipet*

Want it blended? No Problem ... the Tito's Blender Bike will be on hand to make it a slushy!

Everyone is welcome: Walking, Biking, Running, Pulling a wagon, Pulling a stroller, and whatever other creative ideas Philadelphians come up with, all while raising money to help to provide low- cost, accessible veterinary care to pet families in need in each community. Costumes and decorations are encouraged! Prizes will be awarded to the "Best In" catagories:

Best Dog Costume (cart, wagon, walking)
Best Decorated Bike / Biker Costume
Best Walker, Runner, Kids
Best Tito's Themed Costume (Must be 21+ to win)

The Pet Village vendor area featuring some local Philly gems, family activities and more! Meet Gentry from the Philadelphia Fire Department. Also, tickets to tour the historic Lemon Hill Mansion by Fairmont Park Conservancy, will benefit the pets.

Pulling for Pets is FREE to attend and participate in. To register for prizes, contestants can enter with a $25 donation and will receive commemorative hat and swag bag.

FREE to REGISTER! You can be a contestant in the "PULL" up Lemon Hill.... Walk, Run, Bike, Pull a Wagon, Walk a Dog, whatever you want. All ages welcome! Costumes / Decorations are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for:

$15 Tour of Lemon Hill Mansion

The birthplace of Fairmont Park.

Lemon Hill Mansion was built by wealthy merchant Henry Pratt in 1800 as the centerpiece of his garden estate. A beloved place of recreation for nineteenth century Philadelphians, Lemon Hill was the first property purchased by the City of Philadelphia in creating the new Fairmount Park.
