"Service Above Self." That is the Rotary motto. The Dawnbreakers participate in work days at Home of the Sparrow, Habitat for Humanity, Crystal Lake Food Pantry, road cleanups, and others.
Proceeds from this raffle will support local organizations in the areas of mental health, veterans, youth programs, and various other noble causes. They will also provide scholarships to local students pursuing vocational studies.
On 31 December 2020 at noon, Haig Haleblian, the acting mayor of Crystal Lake, will draw 3 tickets from the raffle barrel. The event will be held at the Gazebo (70 E. Woodstock Street) in downtown Crystal Lake. It will also be live-streamed. Anyone who purchases a raffle ticket will be sent a link to the live-stream site.
