Hungry Games 7.0 is back for yet another fantastic evening of food and fun for GOOD. We are so thrilled to host our annual fundraiser, the Hungry Games 7.0, at our commercial kitchen in Garden Grove on Thursday, September 12th, 2024 with doors opening at 5:30 pm. Competing popular local chefs will vie for the title of “Hungry Games Champion” while 500 guests act as judges. It’s a casual and fun evening with amazing food and great music intended to help us fund our trio of services: community feeding, food rescue, and culinary training.
Come hungry for some yummy hors d'oeuvres, meals, and beverages that you will LOVE as the chefs battle for first place! We need YOU to help vote for your favorites throughout the night. We are so excited to have the Pinch Me! Band back with us for a great evening. Come ready to dance!
As we move into our 11th year of serving tasty and nutritious meals to those in need, I think it’s fair to say that we would have never imagined the impact that Bracken’s Kitchen has been able to have on the community. Last year was another record-breaking time for us, as we served 1.92 million meals in our community, rescued 268 tons of food, and graduated 14 students from our culinary training program, providing a path out of poverty for at-risk youth. For 2024 we are on pace to serve 2.3 million meals in and around Orange County.
