Prior to dusk you will travel upriver with five of your friends listening to tales from the bygone era of batteaux. At the halfway point we anchor to begin food and music, celebrating a time honored river tradition. Our in-house musician will take the stage and will perform light acoustic music to serve as an ambient background blending in with the sounds of night falling on the river. Enjoy signature charcuterie boards featuring premium dried meats, assorted cheeses, complete with a variety of seasonal accompaniments. You are welcome to bring your own tasty beverages onboard. Ice buckets and cups provided at your table. As the last of the daylight fades we begin our return float to Scottsville. The cruise will last two hours. Departure is timed to return to the dock at sunset. As the crew will be tied up with the Batteau Festival through Sunday the 23rd, you can schedule your cruise after Sunday June 23rd. Generously donated by the James River Battaeu Company.
