Office Volunteers are needed on Mondays & Wednesdays between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm unless otherwise specified by Belle & Sparrows staff. Please specifiy in the "note" section of registration what days/times you are interested in volunteering for.

Tasks include:

Event Prep/Trip Prep

Candle packaging/ mailing

Adminstrative tasks (emails, phone calls, email organizing etc.)

Spreadsheet development

Office Organization/Clean up

Birdies for Belles Golf Tournament is March 27th( 9:30am-5:00pm )and we need volunteers for the following:

Day of event set up/clean up

Registration

Greeters

Game Facilitator at the designated holes

Silent Auction basket assembly

Belle and Sparrows knows the importance of the communities involvement and mentorship in the lives of our women.
You will provide training in areas such as:
Interviewing
Resume writing
Computer literacy
Budgeting
Basic Finance
Conflict Resolution
Vocational training.

Belle and Sparrows has three major fundraising events throughout the year in which raffle or silent auctions baskets and donations are gathered. (Birdies for Belles, Boots and Belles, unGala)

Volunteer position includes:

Assemblig a team of volunteers to help
Emailing local businesses for doantions/ gift cards
Calling local businesses for donations/ gift cards
Pickiing up items or gift cards
Basket Making
 

Boots & Belles will be held on May 18th at The Backyard Venue in McKinney.  We need volunteers to help decorate, set up the auction table and store front as well as register guests and work the store.

Boots & Belles will be held on May 18th at The Backyard Venue in McKinney.  We need a team to help us break down the event, load in vehicles and help unload back at our office downtown.

The date of this year's unGALA is coming soon.  We are looking for a person or two to chair or co/chair this committee.  This is our largest fundraising event and this position will work closely with the co-founders to sign up and manage unGALA volunteers, pull together silent auction items, assemble silent auction baskets, assist in registration, decoration and clean up of the event.

The unGALA is our biggest fundraising event and the date is coming soon.  Volunteer needs for this event include: set up, clean up, auction basket collection and assembly, registration, store front, photo booth attendant, assist the bar with drinks and check out after the auction ends.

The Stella Project Candle is a sorce of supplemental employment for the women in our program. We are out in the community selling candles at various pop-up shops, luncheons and events. We need help with this.

Volunteer positiion includes:
Load candles from office
Set up shop
Sales
Break down shop
Return all items to office

Dates vary for each pop-up.
