Friends and Family, 

I have had the great privilege of working for the YMCA for over 20 years and have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact the Y has had on countless of individuals, particularly children.   Did you know that the Y offers financial assistance for families who wouldn't be able to otherwise afford sending their child to camp? 

With the generous contributions from community members like you, the Y is able to provide parents the opportunity to send their children to camp without having to worry about the financial burden.  Every dollar donated to the Greater Austin Y has a lasting impact on the children in Austin and surrounding areas.  When you donate to the Greater Austin Y, you’re donating to help children and teen develop life-long skills like self-confidence, character values, leadership skills and gain a sense of purpose and belonging.

Every year, I make it a priority to fundraise for the Annual Campaign so that children within the Austin area would have an opportunity to experience summer camp without their family having to worry about the financial burden.  

Summer Camp provides a safe and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow and thrive! This year, my goal is to send at least 5 KIDS (or more ) TO CAMP!   Will you join me in my mission to proving kids the opportunity to build life-long memories by sending them to camp?

The Greater Austin YMCA provides nearly $2.5M in financial support annually to over 30,000 kids, teens, adults, seniors, and families in our community.
