Dedicated to showing God's love through helping refugees stabilize, integrate, and thrive across Southern California, Voice of Refugees (VOR) is a beacon of hope for over 500 families. Our comprehensive services include English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults, personalized tutoring and workshops for students, one-on-one job coaching, and drivers' training to help newcomers gain independence and mobility.

We also provide essential support through regular food distribution, food distribution, citizenship classes to guide refugees on their path to becoming U.S. citizens, and community events that foster connections and build a sense of belonging. Our degree evaluation service assists young professionals in validating their educational credentials, enabling them to pursue a careers in their new home. These are just a few of the many ways VOR works tirelessly to support and empower displaced individuals and families.

We warmly invite you to join us at our Gala Dinner on September 19th. This special evening is not only a celebration of the incredible resilience and achievements of the refugee families we serve but also a crucial fundraiser to sustain and expand our vital programs.

Our program will include a comprehensive presentation about VOR's initiatives, highlighting the remarkable resilience and integration stories of the refugees we serve. Additionally, there will be opportunities to further support our mission through a live auction and pledge drive, allowing guests to donate towards our various programs that help refugees stabilize, integrate, and thrive in the United States.

$30 Succulent Centerpieces

Take a story home with you to celebrate the fall season. Each pumpkin was donated by our friends at Super King Grocery Store in Costa Mesa. Designed by Hourik Kazarian to represent the REFUGEE acrostic, these beautiful displays were also put together with help from Maha Rizkallah. Thank you for your generosity!

Giving Levels

$100 Women Empowerment

Every $100 will help go towareds training, workshops, and events to empower refugee women through leadership skills, mental health, and life skills to help better integration in their community.

$150 Kids and Youth Mentoring

Refugee kids and youth often feels isolated and abadoned by their parents who are trying to create livelihood and navigate the complex systems of resettlement. Your support will provide mentorship and support for the kids and youth to build their lives in a more healthy environment and experience activities that develops their character.

$50 Food for Refugee Families

Food is an essential item for livelihood and food distribution is a program that also develop connection with newly arrived families. These connections develop to be friendships over the months which helps families get integrated.

$5,500 Mission Area Sponsorship

Be the light that sponsors a full ministry area for an initiative. Most larger events have a total cost of $4,000-7,000, so we have arrived at a "middle ground" amount to help us have reliable funding streams for the ministry areas that help the most. Your one-time gift of $5,500 or monthly gift of $460 will ensure quality programs that serve our refugees and mobilize our volunteers will not be cancelled, delayed, or otherwise interrupted. God is always generous to VOR through His people. We have never ended a year in the "red". We do sense that He is calling us to expanded service as the numbers of refugees in SoCal continues to increase and the needs are so great for the Gospel!
