Velvet Grove is participaing in the 2024 Team Luke Hope for Minds Battle of the Bands. The Band who raises the most money by March 25, 2024 for Team Luke Hope for Minds will win and will be the opening band at Blue Light in Lubbock, Texas on 4/30. Velvet Grove needs your help to get this amazing opportunity.  Your donation will not only help them get one step closer to winning the Battle, but will also help support Team Luke Hope for Minds' mission to enrich the lives of children with a brain injury and give hope to their families through support and education. Matthew Silhan from Velvet Grove said, "My main reason for participating is to try and win that show at the Blue Light. Before I even started Velvet Grove, I’ve wanted to play at the Blue Light, just to switch up the atmosphere, because we aren’t a typical band that you’d see at Blue Light. This would be a huge opportunity for us moving forward. I've also been wanting to do more charity work, and this seems like a really good chance to do something beneficial for someone else. Our band plans to release our EP in May, and then hopefully release an album next year. After that we plan to hit the road and start touring Texas and eventually the country."
