On February 28, 2021, Miracle Maddie fell into the family pool and drowned. She was able to be resuscitated but as a result, she has a profound brain injury. Doctors initially told us to "let her go," insisting she would have no quality of life. But Maddie Girl has proven them wrong. She has, and
continues, to do things the doctors said she would never do, like breathe on her own and see and hear.

With alternative therapies and specialty treatments, Maddie Girl is fighting hard to recover every single day. The therapies that are helping Maddie include but are not necessarily limited to: stem cell treatments, laser therapy, and MNRI/OT therapy. Each of these therapies help Maddie gain awareness and repair neuropathways, improve muscle tone, and support a holistic approach to her healing.
