She finds success comes from collaborating with her clients on every detail to plan something that is incredible and unique and will ensure it meets their vision and expectations. She strives to build personal relationships with those she cooks for, as she believes cooking from the heart is a labor of love that can be felt and tasted in every bite. Her outstanding culinary background and experiences have taken her around the world, working for ten years as private chef for fashion designer Ralph Lauren and his family. During her career, she has prepared delicious dishes for celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, Richard Gere, and others. Locally, Mary Ruth has provided chef and catering service for corporations such as Roswell Park, M&T Bank, as well as Buffalo’s top law firms and other businesses. Her extensive private catering clients have been hiring MaryRuth since 2001 and she is building new relationships every day. She has also created cooking classes, both private and corporate, that bring people in the kitchen with her to cook amazing food together and share in a fun and memorable evening. In 2010 M&T Bank hired MaryRuth as Executive Chef for the Westminster Charter School. Working with Buffalo’s Promise Neighborhood, she set out to bring local and fresh ingredients to a redesigned school lunch menu that prepared healthy and creative meals focused on balance and nutrition for inner-city children. Mary Ruth’s skill at customizing meals and private events to meet the personal tastes for every client has made her an expert in her role as a chef and caterer. Her remarkable career is highlighted by the unforgettable meals she has prepared and the long-term relationships she has made and continues to build. |
