Four the Arts

Please join us at the home of the Rushmore Music Festival founders, Drs. Brett Walfish and Katie Smirnova, for an afternoon filled with Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" and the unveiling of the Painted Violin Project, showcasing local artists' transformative talents on once-unplayable violins. Join us for an afternoon of art and music!

Painted Violin Project

To support the Rushmore Music Festival, we invite you to enter a world where unplayable violins are given a new life as they are transformed into stunning works of art through the innovative Painted Violin Project. Each piece represents a window into each artist's unique vision and creativity. From vibrant colors to intricate designs, these repurposed instruments will captivate your senses and inspire conversation. To support our students, each of these remarkable creations will be available for acquisition through a five-month-long auction, offering attendees the opportunity to bring home a piece of this extraordinary artistry while supporting the local arts community.

Support the Artists

Each artist will be given a dedicated space where they can showcase their other works and allow you to bring a piece home with you. Each sale will benefit the artist 100%.
