Inspired by Ossabaw Island? Art in this auction was created by the South's premier painters, photographers and sculptors, capturing the wild and native spirit of Ossabaw Island.

Each autumn since 2001, the Ossabaw Island Foundation has hosted an annual Pig Roast & Art Auction on Ossabaw Island, an undeveloped barrier island in Chatham County, Georgia.  Ossabaw is designated as Georgia's first Heritage Preserve and is owned by the State of Georgia.   This is the sole fund raiser for our organization on Ossabaw Island.  At the Ossabaw Island Pig Roast and Art Auction we offer a silent auction of Ossabaw inspired art.  This year we are unable to host our one big HOG of a party on the island.  We are now offering an online auction so all of Ossabaw's lovers and supporters have the opportunity to bid on these works of art.  Ossabaw's artists from the 1970's through this year have created the paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery and other works sold at this auction.

Funds raised at our fund raiser and now by this auction are used to support the mission of the Ossabaw Island Foundation.

Savannah resident and photographer Peter S. Kastner has created this stunning 2023 calendar he has titled, “24 hours on the Beaches at Ossabaw Island”.  He took these images this spring while attending a photography workshop that focused on night sky photography.  The group went to the South End Beach to photograph the Milky Way.  Peter has donated these calendars to the Ossabaw Island Foundation as a fundraiser.  $25 includes shipping.
