Get Out & Get Away at Canyon Lakeview Resort! Operation Get Out and Legacy Farmstead have joined forces with a mission to provide a fully-sponsored, no fees attached weekend for first responders, military, and front line workers to immerse in the mental wellness benefits of being in nature and on the water.
Enjoy time on the lake, boating, floating, and/or wake surfing; music under the stars, Sun Up SUP paddle board outings, guest speakers, and great food and drink.
Both Operation Get Out and Legacy Farmstead are 501c3 nonprofits with a passion to serve first responders, military, front-line workers, and their families.
OpGetOut, with deep roots and connections in the wellness, water, military, first responder, and philanthropic world, began organically — providing individuals and groups opportunities to Get Out — and is now an intentional, purposeful organization that plans and executes experiences, events, and outings for individuals and agencies to inspire and utilize the evidence-based science that supports nature and water as a powerful therapeutic and wellness benefit to assist with loss, PTS, anxiety, depression, grief, and stress.
Legacy Farmstead, based in Boerne, Texas, impacts the lives and legacies of veterans, first responders, and their families through rescue horses, and equine therapy with genuine farm and ranch experiences.
Through our programs, we witness the powerful unlocking and resetting that takes place when individuals are given the opportunity and tools to be empowered with the healing elements of nature and water.
