BENTON’S Aged Whole Hickory Smoked Country Ham & 4 packs Hickory Smoked Country Bacon!   Brought to you by:  TEAMS Chapter   Our Aged Whole Bone In Country Hams are dry cured and hickory smoked: incorporating time, patience, and the traditional family recipe to produce a delicious product. These hams are aged 12-14 months, giving them a much more complex and intense flavor that many of our customers prefer when enjoying them as charcuterie; similar to how folks enjoy an Italian prosciutto ham or Spanish serrano ham.   With an average weight of 15-17 lbs, whole hams are packaged in brown paper and a cotton sack and make excellent gifts for any country ham connoisseur. AND One order contains four one pound packs of Hickory Smoked Country Bacon from our smokehouse and plant in Madisonville, TN.   This bacon is dry cured by hand with salt, brown sugar, and black pepper. After about three weeks curing and drying in refrigeration, it is thoroughly smoked in our wood stove smokehouse for two to three days continuously. Finally, it is packed by hand, mere feet from the smokehouse, and boxed to ship. As it is dry-cured, smoked, and vacuum sealed, it is a very flavorful and shelf stable product that ships unrefrigerated to all US destinations, all year round. We hope you enjoy it!
