This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms and conditions between you ("Member") and Impact Hub Houston. By accepting this, you agree to the following:
I am becoming a member of Impact Hub Houston (“Impact Hub”) to join a locally rooted and global connected community that empowers people to develop solutions and social ventures with scalable impact for a more just and sustainable world.
As a part of this community, I understand that it is my responsibility to maintain and advance the following 3 Impact Hub Global Principles:
Trust - We trust each other to do what we say we do. We may have different approaches but share an underlying positive intention and set of values.
Courage - We have the courage to walk the path less traveled. We honor the past and pioneer new solutions.
Collaboration - We seek out diverse perspectives to achieve common goals.
I agree to uphold and abide by the core values of Impact Hub Houston:
We believe that radical collaboration can create transformative change.
We treat people with respect, empathy, honesty, and kindness.
We empower problem-solvers as key catalysts for community progress.
We employ systems centered on diverse perspectives to build better solutions.
We work to provide equitable access to education, resources, and thoughtful environments that foster participation, reflection, productivity and mutual benefit.
We remind people that they must hold themselves responsible and accountable for proactively engaging in those activities and leveraging their opportunities.
We gather data, examine outcomes, and report our results to ensure that we hold ourselves accountable to our objectives and to our community.
I understand that my membership is contingent upon my compliance (and my guests’ compliance) with these Terms and Conditions, and all future updates of this agreement (collectively the “Terms and Conditions”) as provided.
I understand that my acceptance of this membership agreement does not create a lease or other interest in real property in my favor, but merely grants me the ability to access the benefits afforded to the level of membership I applied for.
I agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. I understand that Impact Hub Houston may revoke or terminate my membership at any time.
This Agreement goes into effect on the day that Impact Hub receives your first payment. By making your first payment, you indicate that you have accepted the terms of this Agreement.
