For the second year in a row, the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend (CACCB) is excited to announce our Garden of Hope Gala on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023, at the Solomon P. Ortiz International Center! For this special night, the Children's Advocacy center is featuring Houston Astros Hall of Famer, Jeff Bagwell! Given the initial enthusiasm, we are certain this will be a sold-out event.

The gala kicks off with a VIP reception at 6 p.m., followed by the event at 7 p.m. to include dinner and live/silent auctions. Table sponsorships range from $1,500 (bronze) to $10,000 (platinum). Individual and VIP tickets are also available.

Last year, our Inaugural Garden of Hope Gala featuring San Antonio Spurs Legend Sean Elliott raised over $70,000...the most successful fundraiser in our nearly 30-year history. We could not have accomplished this without the growing support of local businesses, companies and caring individuals in our community. These funds allow us to continue providing FREE pivotal services (forensic interviews, trauma-informed therapy, case management, etc.) to children in our community who have been the victim of abuse.

Each year, we serve around 1,500 children who have endured abuse (physical, sexual, child witness to violent crimes, drug-endangered and human trafficking). We partner with DFPS; local, state and federal law enforcement; and the Driscoll Children's Hospital CARE Team.

Since 1994, we have served around 45,000 Coastal Bend children in 10 counties. Our goal is to advocate for the rights of children and their specific needs and create an environment where child abuse is no longer tolerated.
