Stella Maeve has starred as the female lead on the Syfy series The Magicians for the past five years. Her character “Julia” was a magician who possessed unexplained godlike powers throughout Season 3 and eventually became a full on goddess. Prior to the Magicians, Stella heavily recurred on the NBC series Chicago PD and Law & Order: SVU, playing 18-year-old heroin-junkie-prostitute-turned-Chicago PD employee “Nadia Decotis” in both worlds. In 2013, while she was starring as a series regular on the CBS series Golden Boy, Taylor Hackford cast Stella as the lead in his CW pilot Norfolk (fka Company Town), making Stella a star on two networks simultaneously.
