The President's Reception ends the reign of Carlos Moore, our current National President, and honors the legacy of past president's. This year's event will feature a cocktail hour and acoustic lounge followed by a night of celebration. Heavy hors' de orves will be served throughout the night. We'll party to the sounds Gerald Richardson and the House Band as well as two DJs -- Anonymuz and Zoom -- and taste uniquely designed chocolates made by Memphis' own Phillip Ashley Chocolates! The dress is cocktail attire.
VENUE LOCATION: Memphis International Airport is located just 12 miles, a 15- to 20-minute drive, from the Renasant Convention Center (RCC) and Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, while the city's Amtrak station arrives just 1.5 miles away. - PARKING: To reach the Parking Garage for the Renasant Convention Center Navigate to 266 N. Front St. Parking is available in the parking attached garage on the north end of the facility for $10 per car.
- To drop someone off at the Renasant Convention Center/Cannon Center: Navigate to 255 N. Main St.

National Bar Association COVID-19 Protocols (Per Website)
The health and safety of our members and guests are of the utmost importance to the National Bar Association. Given the impact of COVID-19 and global health recommendations regarding large, in-person gatherings, the NBA has made the decision for every participant to provide proof of being fully vaccinated and provide proof of a negative test 72 hours prior to the start of the event (convention).
Every convention attendee will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival to the event certifying a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event.
We are following the prevention measures below:
- All convention participants must show proof of being FULLY VACCINATED and provide a Negative Test result.
- Mask will be required at the convention center unless actively eating or drinking.
- Sanitizing stations will be prominently placed throughout the convention center venue.
- If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or not feeling well, we ask that you do not put others in danger and remain at home.
