5.75 x 7.75 in.  11.25 x 15.12 in. with white border. Artist Statement: Watercolors are a quick snapshot of a moment in time. They are fast and spontaneous and a joy to create. I love the immediacy of the medium and the way the pigment dances in the water. I think watercolors are ideal for capturing the feeling of a favorite place, like this spot on a hike at Will Rogers State Park. __________________________ Artist bio: Lisa Robins is a graphic designer, art director, art teacher, and watercolor artist based in Pacific Palisades, California. She earned her BFA from Tyler School of art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and in Rome, Italy.

16 x 20 in. “Mirage” is an oil painting by artist Lynnae Maki. Art has the ability to alter the way we see the world. Sometimes the things we see are merely fragments of a world we wish existed. Or perhaps through art we obtain a window into something others are simply too blind to see. ___________________________ My art is not meant to be about me. My background. My education. My profession. I hope that every piece I create connects with each person differently. That’s the thing about this world. We were never meant to experience it in the same way. The things we see are all affected by the experiences we’ve had. The people we’ve loved. The hurt we’ve experienced. The strange dreams that woke us up in the middle for the night. Art is not purely a reflection of the artist it is most importantly a reflection of the viewer. It is a window to see into your own past and present and perhaps for a few fleeting moments a glimpse into the world of someone else.

It is a combination of fabric, magazine clippings, card games, photography, watercolor and acrylic paint, all coated in a high quality resin on a wood backing. Each piece was made with love and the hope of passing on kindness and light to others through art. The piece reflects the strength, beauty, and resilience of the women in our world and showcases the intricate parts that weave together to create each of their unique stories. _____________________________ My art is not meant to be about me. My background. 17 x 13 in. Inspired by the textiles and patterns of Japan and the shapes of the traditional “KoKeshi” dolls, “Devotion” is about the purest form of love there is - that between a mother and her child. __________________________ Born in Hawaii to a Japanese mother and a military aviator father, Sali Swalla’s early years were spent living in various US States, as well as Japan and Korea. After attending University in Tokyo, she moved to Los Angeles and finally began to put down roots. Having moved so often in her youth, Sali developed a unique inner life, fed by the enormous variety of places she has inhabited. Her work is an expression of a sense of longing and loss, tightly related with a search for wholeness and something beyond the tangible world. Process-heavy layering, veiling, and scraping away mimics this search and serves as a metaphor for personal growth. Sali’s work has been shown nationally in juried exhibits and fairs, placed in numerous public and private collections, chosen for placement on television, and repeatedly featured in Saatchi online collections and catalogues.

22 x 17.25 in. Edition 1 of 5. Hand signed by artist. Digital on fine art paper, 2014. From the estate of art collector William Butler. _________________________ Richard Greene brings to photography a unique personal history. As a trained classical violinist and Bluegrass Fiddle Master, his non-stop career as a touring musician, recording artist and educator spanned from 1960 to 2013. At the same time he has been obsessed with photography, from home darkroom explorations to today’s digital revolution. Richard's four primary musical goals have always been Expression, Innovation, Technique and Composition. In applying these same intentions to his photography he finds that musical and photographic compositions are actually quite the same: both depend entirely on the artistic placement of real or imagined elements, both start before using the instrument, both start with seeing. Art collector William Butler had interests spanning Egyptian and Sumerian artifacts to contemporary photography and mid-century furniture (and for a brief time English Neo-Classical and French Directoire). Many pieces from his estate are now a part of the Palm Springs Art Museum collection.

24 x 18 in. Oil & mixed media on canvas. 2019. __________________________ Eric Sanders embraces both traditional and new (digital) media, and his work is a clever reflection and formal synthesis of the artists who inspire him. As a result, a breadth of artistic genres, styles, and techniques informs his aesthetic language. Sanders is stimulated by the challenge of metabolizing what he sees and welcomes creative risk-taking within his practice. Although seemingly disparate, his work manifests an underlying theme: a continuously evolving relationship to the visual world around him. Sanders invites viewers to apply the same values of openness and fluidity to their interpretation of his work as well.

10 x 8 in. Oil on linen panel, 2009. _______________________ Kyle Vincent Thomas b. 1973 Born in Newton, Massachusetts BFA Painting MFA Figurative Painting Kyle Vincent Thomas is a contemporary realist who excels in painting still-lifes, landscapes, and the figure. His works hang in private collections across America and internationally in Ireland, Scotland, and France. Though he didn't start painting until his early 20's, Kyle has had a deep interest in art from an early age. As a young boy, he loved to draw. Through books and museum visits, he developed a great love for realist art, especially the works of Michelangelo and Rembrandt. However, serious study in art didn't start for him until 1997 when he enrolled at Laguna College of Art and Design. It was there that he trained to draw and paint in the classical tradition. While studying at LCAD, Kyle discovered and became greatly influenced by the 19th century artists John Singer Sargent and Joaquin Sorolla. He continues to look to their work for guidance and encouragement. Kyle graduated in 2000 with a BFA in Painting. He later went on to receive his MFA in Figurative Painting from the Academy of Art University in 2009. Kyle currently lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife and three children. www.kylevthomas.com
